2016 Holiday Girl Boss Gift Guide
M.I.A. That’s what I call my blogging status this past few months. Sometime in between starting my blog (almost two years ago) and now… I’ve graduated from college, moved to the west coast, gotten a big girl job (#Girl Boss), a boyfriend and a new puppy. Not to mention I’ve changed my blog design and focus 50,000 times. Fashion, Lifestyle, Design, Travel? Who says I can’t do it all? I’m indecisive okay? I also made an Instagram for my blog where I’ve changed the color theme about 75,000 times. One day I’m feeling soft lighting, and the next day I’m feeling dark and moody. I’m thankful for my sweet boyfriend that puts up with all my blog talk. I’m not sure if he actually cares or just pretends to, but he’s a great listener. None the less, I’m back just in time for the holiday season. I am excited to for what’s in store for the future.
“You can start late, look different, be uncertain, and still succeed.” – Misty Copeland
The Chanfetti Holiday Gift Guide series is launching with a 2016 Holiday Girl Boss gift guide. Post-grad life and attempting to adult is not easy, but these gifts definitely make things a bit easer.
- Planner
I plan everything. I plan on my notes on my phone, I plan in my head, I plan on scraps of paper when I don’t have time for anything else. My head is constantly thinking and processing. It’s like a race against time. Erin Condren makes the cutest and most organizational planners. You can also find a list of my favorite planners here. Definitely the perfect space for the Girl Boss in your life to plan out her next move. - Manicure Set
I’ve never trusted anyone with bad nails, and you shouldn’t either. This manicure set is so cute and perfect for the girl on the go. The worst is when you have a hang nail and are about to go into a meeting and need a quick fix. - Watch
I grew up watching my mom wear different watches everyday. Now it makes sense. I feel completely lost without a watch on my wrist. Unfortunately, I feel like it’s difficult to find a good, decently priced watch brand for women that isn’t Michael Kors (no offense Michael). However, Olivia Burton makes sophisticated watches that are super cute and a great way to make sure you’re always on time. Because for a Girl Boss, being on time should never be optional, and neither should being late. - Coffee Mug
To whoever started the coffee mug industry… so freaking smart. I’m a sucker for a good coffee mug. If it has a cute saying on it, I’m almost guaranteed to buy it. I just purchased the cutest new holiday mug which I will feature on a later post. I honestly believe that choosing your coffee mug each morning is a mood brightener. - Portable iPhone Charger
One of my biggest fears is that one day I’m going to run into Kendall Jenner and want to take a picture with her, but my phone is going to be dead. I kid you not. I had a dream about it the other day. If you’re buying a gift for a more rational person, I can guarantee they will appreciate a portable phone charger. Even if it just means giving their phone an extra charge to be able to send that work email. Priorities. - Leather Tech Envelope
How cool is this?! It literally holds all of your everyday essentials in one place. For a girl who’s constantly on the go, I’m always looking for new ways to condense things. Mark and Graham even gives you the option to monogram it. I feel like this is the most practical gift on the 2016
Holiday Girl Boss Gift Guide list. (P.S. If anyone knows how to not need 3 bags for a weekend trip, lmk). - Eye Mask
Tired and baggy eyes are not cute. This eye mask is perfect for relaxing and rejuvenating the delicate skin around the eyes. Especially with everyday strain from looking at our computer and phone screens, our eyes definitely need rejuvenation every now and then. - ‘Philosophy’ Gift Set
This gift set is only $77 + free shipping (regular price $128) online at Nordstrom. After a long day of being a girl boss, how nice does it sound to take a warm bath with these sweet treats that are good for your body and soul this holiday season.
