Hi everyone! If you follow me on Instagram, you know I recently got back from the most amazing trip with my boyfriend to Greece! In today’s blog post, I’m breaking down the details of the few days we spent in Athens before going to heading to Mykonos and Santorini! I will be sharing blog posts about each island as well, but this one is all about the beautiful city of Athens!
Where We Stayed

The Academias Hotel, Autograph Collection was such a dream. I loved this beautiful boutique hotel! Our flight landed early so we were able to change down in the spa before check-in while they stored our luggage. It’s in a central location, close to shopping and the Acropolis! There are lots of cute shops nearby. We had coffee at the cutest restaurant, ‘Zoe’s Premium Latteria,’ right across the street from the hotel. If you’re visiting Athens, I definitely recommend stopping by to sip on a latte and try one of their tasty treats. One thing I noticed is how friendly and accommodating everyone was.
Places We Visited

There are a couple of notable places we visited, both of which were on my bucket list! The first one was The Parthenon! For those who are not familiar with what this is, it’s a former temple on the Athenian Acropolis, Greece, dedicated to the goddess Athena. I truly can’t believe I crossed this off of my bucket list. The second place was The Acropolis Museum which we had lunch at! This museum is rated as one of the best museums in the world.
Where We Ate
GB Roof Garden Restaurant & Bar
Located on the rooftop of the beautiful Hotel Grande Bretagne, GB Roof Garden Restaurant & Bar is a dining experience I won’t forget. Not only do they serve amazing food, but you’ll see breathtaking views of the city, including the Acropolis. The area is great. We explored and did a little bit of shopping before dinner.

This modern greek mezze restaurant serves local cuisine with a twist. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and they have great food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, Greek cuisine in a restaurant under the shade of the trees of an 11th-century Holy Temple of Agios Theodoros!
Shopping: Ermou Street

One of the most famous streets in central Athens, Ermou Street is shopping heaven. It is located at the top of Syntagma Square which is the central square in Athens. You can easily spend hours here! Highly recommend!
