Hi Babes! I feel like I haven’t posted in forever (even though it’s technically only been a week). I’ve been so so busy lately, with my job and I’m also in the process of moving. Packing for a move is SUCH a pain. I wanted to share this blue off the shoulder top with you guys that I paired with white shorts and my Steve Madden Espadrilles. And of course, my pup Reece had to make an appearance. He’s such a little ladies man.
I headed down to Balboa Island in Newport Beach for this fun photo shoot. Balboa Island is full of chic coastal shops and restaurants. One of the benefits of living by the coast is the yummy fresh seafood. The frozen banana dessert also originated here on this very island. There are a variety of ways that you can get to the island (walk, ferry, bike) but in my opinion, the easiest way is by car. The island is super family-friendly as well, with a Ferris Wheel and an entertainment fun zone full of arcade games. Think carnival vibes. When I was younger, I loved going to the pier with my family and friends in Myrtle Beach. It’s a really popular spot on the east coast. Balboa Island instantly reminded me of this, and definitely brought back some nostalgia.
I actually purchased this adorable bag from a little boutique a few years ago. I like to wear it when I’m out by the water, because it definitely gives off beach vibes. The cut-outs caught my eye when I first saw spotted it in the shop. I’ve linked to a similar bag that for less than $100 here.
I’ve linked two off the shoulder tops that are similar to my blue and white striped one 🙂 The one that is most similar to mine is this one from Express.
Express Blue Off The Shoulder Top // Off The Shoulder Ruffle Blouse // White Shorts //
Crossbody Clutch // Medallion Cutout Drop Earrings // Espadrille Wedge Sandal // Monogram Pendant Necklace
Also, I have some exciting projects coming up for the blog, which is why I haven’t been as active on my social media accounts, including IG, so stay tuned. 😉 I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!
