As the air turns crisp and the days get shorter, I always find myself craving simplicity and reaching for pieces that feel polished, elevated and timeless. A capsule wardrobe isn’t necessarily about having less, it’s about having pieces that you can style seamlessly! Think refined textures, rich neutrals, and silhouettes that move effortlessly from morning meetings to dinner plans.

Fall Capsule Wardrobe: Tops
Chic Cardigan: A cashmere cardigan in ivory, mocha, or charcoal is a fall essential.
Long-Sleeve Top: Whether styled under cardigans or styled with a pair of denim for an effortless off-duty look, you can never go wrong with the basics (i.e. a black or white long-sleeve top).
Bodysuit: I love how a bodysuit gives that seamless, tucked-in look that’s perfect with high-waisted jeans or wide-leg trousers.
Bottoms
Classic Pants: I find myself constantly reaching for these high-waisted trousers. The structured fit of these pants creates a polished silhouette that transitions effortlessly from day to night. This definitely explains why I have these pants in several different colors.
Satin Skirt: One of those rare pieces that always feels elevated, no matter how you style it.
High-Rise Denim: You technically only need two pairs of denim in your wardrobe, although admittedly, I have quite a few more. When it comes to fall styling, opt for a dark wash or black for a polished look!
Coats
Trench Coat: I love a classic trench coat styled over jeans and a tee. The perfect everyday look.
Wool Coat: A well-tailored wool coat adds polish and sophistication to your entire wardrobe. It’s the kind of piece that ties everything together and can be worn year after year.
Accessories
Black Shoulder Bag: A black shoulder bag is more than just an accessory, it’s the piece that completes every outfit.
Suede Bag: An everyday bag for carrying essentials while on the go.
Statement Belt: From gold buckles to unique textures, a statement belt lets you express your style without saying a word. Also, perfect for cinching coats and cardigans.
Shoes
Ballet Flats: A black ballet flat is my go-to for when I want a more relaxed, yet still elevated look. So easy to style will jeans or a satin maxi skirt!
Leather Boots: Knee-high or ankle boots in deep suede brown or black leather instantly elevate your fall capsule wardrobe.
My goal each season is to create a wardrobe that feels effortless, but intentional, one where every piece earns its place.
WITH LOVE, B
