I recently got back from a trip to Hawaii and this may have been one of my favorite trips to date! I first went to Hawaii back in 2019 on one of my first ever brand trips and it felt so great to be back. Hawaii is absolutely breathtaking and I can’t wait to share details on where we stayed, the restaurants we went to, and things we did!
Where We Stayed

If you have plans to take a trip to Hawaii, the Hilton Hawaiian Village is a beach resort I’d recommend you stay at. It’s an oceanfront beach resort with a perfect view of the water and the city. The location is great because it is a short drive to many of the beaches, restaurants and shops!
Where We Ate

Surf Lanai – We went to this cute spot for breakfast. They have great french toast and green juices, plus their famous Pink Palace Pancakes!
Edge of Waikiki – We were able to walk down the beach to this spot for lunch! This is a great daytime spot for drinks and lunch! It also has an amazing view of Waikiki beach with the option of outdoor dining and/or the poolside bar.
Orchids – This oceanfront restaurant was amazing (both food and atmosphere)! They serve Italian cuisine with a Hawaiian flare. We actually ate here twice for dinner because of how great the experience was!
Waterman Bar at the Four Seasons – A great bar located alongside the Ohana Pool at the heart of the Four Seasons resort! I stayed at the Four Seasons during my first trip to Hawaii, so it was nice being back here. I recommend ordering the caesar salad with shrimp!
Tropics Bar & Grill – This restaurant was located on the resort we stayed at! We ate here several times for lunch and ordered the popcorn shrimp every single time.
DECK. – We ate here for breakfast one morning! The restaurant has a view of Diamond Head, which is a volcanic cone (Hawaii’s most recognized landmark). The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor rooftop pool deck of the Queen Kapiʻolani Hotel! I ordered the French toast with a side of bacon, of course.
Food in North Shore
Tropical Tribe – I spent half of the trip in search of the best açaí bowl on the island and this cafe definitely came in first place. We stopped here on our drive to the North Shore. It is a great mid-day food stop with several other shops in the area.
Haleʻiwa Beach House – This is a great lunch spot by the water. The seafood choices are delicious and they also serve Whispering Angel (my fave)!

Things We Did

Byo-do In Temple – We visited this beautiful temple located at the foot of the Ko’olau Mountains in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. I recommend visiting it to take in the beauty and feel a pure sense of peace. The grounds include a large pond, meditation areas, and small waterfalls!
Royal Hawaiian Center – This is where we stopped to do a little shopping! It is perfect for designer lovers with all of my favorite luxury brands like Hermès, Saint Laurent, and more!
Additionally, a few other notable things we did in Hawaii included waking up early to watch the sunrise at Sandy Beach, spent the day at Waimea Bay Beach Park, and we also rented a jeep to drive the island! All of these little things really made the trip feel so special. It was the perfect way to reset and refuel during this busy time of year.
