Last week, I went on a Girl’s Trip with my management team to San Luis Obispo, CA. I’m excited to share the details of the trip with you all!
WHERE WE STAYED
We stayed at the incredible Hotel San Luis Obispo. Every detail of this resort was well-thought-out. It’s modern, vibrant and conveniently located downtown. I absolutely loved the boho-chic lobby, down to the Moroccan-style rugs. Not to mention, there is a beautiful see-through fireplace between the reception area & bar lounge. We knew we were in for a great stay from the moment we walked in!
WHERE WE ATE
The top 3 most notable restaurants we ate during our trip at are Granada Bistro, Ox + Anchor, and Nate’s on Marsh.
An absolutely beautiful restaurant located in a Boutique Hotel. The food was great and drinks were well-made. Perfect for a girl’s night out!
This fine-dining restaurant is located inside Hotel San Luis Obispo. It’s a modern spin on the classic steakhouse. Great atmosphere, local ingredients, and a curated list of wines. There is also a Wine Library with custom wine storage display–a beautiful sight to see!
We had a great experience here. The owner, Nate Long, was super friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Pomodoro with Meatball option on the menu and it was AMAZING!
WINERIES
We visited 2 wineries! Law Estate Wines and Niner Wine Estates. Both locations were absolutely beautiful. Great wine and stunning views of the vineyards.
ACTIVITIES
Horseback Riding at MarFarm
One of the most fun activities we did was Horseback Riding! It reminded me of my old riding days. MarFarm is a horse stable in coastal wine country that has been converted into an Airbnb. There were also SO many super cute pups running around. I would love to spend another day here.
Axe Throwing
That’s right! We went axe throwing at Battle Axe and it was so much fun. I’d never been before! I hit the bullseye on my first try, but missed it every time after that.. of course… (I still had a blast though)!
Overall, it was a great trip. It was amazing meeting all the girls and seeing old friends. A huge thank you to my management company, Lola & Ivy, for taking us all!
