NighttimeRoutineNecessities-2

My Nighttime Routine Necessities

I get a lot of questions from you guys asking me about my morning/night routines and my hair routines. I'm finally sharing my secrets with you guys. This post will cover my nighttime routine and necessities. Ever since leaving the bubble (graduating college) and being thrown into the wild (the real world), it's been hard to maintain the routines I had in college. But I've noticed it's all about finding balance and finding some wine.

So I usually get home from work and decide if I want to go to the gym or if I want to sit on the couch and eat Oreos and milk. I usually decide on the latter. Then my roommate demands that we go get dinner, and I consume more calories, but somehow I still can’t be convinced to go to the gym.

But somewhere in between I manage to maintain a pretty normal nighttime routine. In this post I will reveal my most essential nighttime products. I use this face wash with my Olay ProX face cleansing brush. It’s literally a third of the price of Clarisonic brushes, but still does an amazing job exfoliating and cleaning my face. When I get out of the shower, I love love love this body lotion. Over the years I’ve used a lot of different types of lotions (moisturized skin is major key) but this is my favorite because it’s meant for wet skin. So it goes on easier and absorbs faster. I also rejuvenate and moisturize my face with this night treatment and this transformation moisturizer. It helps with cell turnover to make your skin look rejuvenated and youthful.

Finally, I usually sit in my towel for about 2 hours before I finally decide to change into my pajamas, light a candle (this lavender scented one is my favorite), and read a book. Luckiest Girl Alive is what I’m reading at the moment. I usually don’t put it down until I fall asleep still holding it.
