Whenever I first saw this plaid ruffle blouse, I fell in love with it instantly. With the holiday’s coming up, this blouse instantly put me in the holiday mood. Has anyone else ever spent hours searching for a holiday top that says festive but chic. I know I’m not the only one out there. This plaid ruffle blouse is by one of my favorite brands, BP. They seriously make the cutest clothes and accessories. BP put a feminine twist on the classic tartan plaid pattern and I’m here for it. I’m so in love with the cascading ruffles along the seams. I’m wearing a size small and would say the top fits pretty true to size. This blouse is also machine washable which means extra points in my book. There’s nothing I dislike more than “special washing instructions.” Like no, we’re just gonna throw this bish in the washing machine and call it a day.
As for the rest of my outfit, I’m wearing fringe jeans that I originally purchased from Zara at the beginning of this year. If you want to see a different way I styled them, I’m also wearing the jeans in this blog post. Unfortunately, mine are no longer available but I am linking several similar pairs that you can shop at the bottom of this post. I also recently purchased these patent leather boots for $32 and I’m obsessed with them. They’re actually so comfy and chic. I’ve been wearing them everywhere. The item you’ve been seeing in all my posts lately is this black handbag. It has been my go-to this season because it matches everything AND is currently on sale for $44. You can shop my entire look below!
On another note, I saw this quote on a friend’s Instagram earlier today — “Because right where you are in this moment—even in all this imperfection and mess and steps still left to take—is exactly where you’re supposed to be.” I’ve seen it before and loved seeing it again today. I just want to let everyone know that you should take time out of your day to embrace where you are at this moment. Worry less… because you are exactly where you need to be. Be thankful for where you’ve come and where you are going. Because when one door closes, usually an even better one opens.
