When I was 14 years old, I tried using sandpaper to make my own ripped jeans. Emphasis on the word “tried,” because the end result was an angry mother and a pair of jeans that no longer looked presentable enough to wear (RIP to my destroyed Abercrombie pants). Fast forward a few years later where I just purchased a pair of ripped jeans that I love. I feel like there are two different images that are able to be portrayed when wearing ripped jeans. The first image is the “why are you wearing ripped jeans” look, and the second image is “wow, I’m obsessed with those ripped jeans.” I went for the latter.

I’ve worn this outfit on so many different occasions, because it is very versatile. The ripped jeans are by KanCan Los Angeles, but I actually purchased them from T.J.Maxx. I’m all about finding deals when I go shopping. The black top is from Forever 21 and can be dressed up or down, because of the cuffed sleeves and lightly woven material. I’ve wanted a pair of booties for what seems like forever, but I could never find the perfect pair. I’ll spare you the countless hours I spent looking for booties and tell you that Charlotte Russe has a great selection. I love that mine are a neutral color so I can wear them with basically anything, and the fringe adds a bit of flair. With the recent arrival of Fall, I don’t think you can go wrong with booties. My tote is the Michael Kors “Dillon.” I love the look and feel of the croc-embossed leather, because it adds excitement to the typical Michael bag.

What is your favorite fall look? Definitely tag me in it on Instagram or Twitter!
