Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is easily one of the most famous streets in the world. Combining luxury, fashion and lifestyle, there’s no question why. It’s also easily one of my favorite streets in the world (besides 5th Avenue in NYC, of course). These streets are literally brands themselves. One walk down either is enough to fuel one’s motivation for a solid 6 months, at least. In the coming weeks, I will be posting a three part style series consisting of the different looks you’ll see on Rodeo Drive, including Casual Chic, Posh and Sophisticated. The first style is obviously Casual Chic! Casual Chic is when you pair a dressy style element with something less formal, like jeans. In this case I’m pairing block heels with trendy, fringe jeans. Fringe jeans are IN. To be honest, when I was younger, I was never a fan of jeans with “baby fringe,” because I think it looks cheap. But I’m loving the new long fringe look.
I’ve linked two pairs of fringe jeans that are similar to mine that I purchased in-store at Zara. I’d been on the search for the PERFECT pair for a while, until I fell in love with these. If you don’t live near a Zara, this pair is very similar. If you like the fringe hem, but not so much the distressed look, I would go for these. I just recently purchased my Rebecca Minkoff bag as a little gift to myself 😉 I’ve had my eye on it for a few months now. The way I see it, if you can’t stop thinking about it, buy it!! Like most California girls, I typically wear heels when I’m going out to dinner or a special event and pair them with jeans. Casual Chic is a popular style choice here because of how many different occasions that it is perfect for.
I’ll be posting part 2 of the series soon. It will be more of a classic look 🙂
