The Simple Way To Tie A Rectangular Blanket Scarf

The Simple Way To Tie A Rectangular Blanket Scarf - Chanfetti

Happy Tuesday Babes! With Fall in full-swing, blanket scarfs are a necessity. In today’s blog post I’m going to share with y’all the simple way to tie a rectangular blanket scarf. I don’t know about you guys, but when it came down to tying a rectangular blanket scarf the one I’m wearing from Marley Lilly…. I was clueless!!  I googled “how to tie an rectangular blanket scarf” and even looked on Pinterest, but the only results were for square blanket scarfs. Not helpful. So I took matters into my own hands and decided to write this post! I’m listing the steps below. I also created a step-by-step graphic on how to tie a rectangular blanket scarf for those of you who are visual learners like I am.

The Simple Way to Tie a Rectangular Blanket Scarf:

Step 1: Start with the scarf completely unfolded.

Step 2: Drape one side over your shoulder. If your scarf is monogrammed (like mine) make sure it is upright and facing the front.

Step 3: Take the other end that is behind you and wrap it around your neck. You might have to do this twice depending on how long your scarf is.

Step 4: The back of the scarve should appear crossed (see photo).

Step 5: In the front, tuck the long end of the scarf under the monogrammed par, then adjust it.

Step 6: All done!
