Let’s talk summer beauty favorites because my makeup routine definitely changes with each season. I am constantly testing out new products and finding ones that I love, but also a fair amount of items I hate. I never share products that don’t work for me (for a variety of reasons–I didn’t like the formula, the product didn’t last all day, etc.), but I absolutely love to share products with you guys anytime I find one that just works. In today’s blog post, I am rounding up my six must-have beauty products for summer. These are the go-to products that I will reach for on a daily basis!

Summer Beauty Favorites
ILIA – Super Serum Skin Tint: I love ILIA Beauty’s products. Their products are not only clean, but they also have a wide range of shades in all of their foundations. Their Super Serum Skin Tine is lightweight and gives good, dewy coverage. I like to avoid wearing heavy foundations during the summer (especially with the humidity). We don’t like clogged pores over here.
TOM FORD – Soleil Glow Bronzer: I like to use this bronzer when I need a little extra glow. It’s comfortable, blends well and makes my skin look radiant. It’s perfect to use in spots where you typically contour during the winter.
NARS Liquid Blush: Liquid blush is such a game-changer. I will use powder blush on more subtle days, but I use the NARS liquid blush on days that I want more staying power. One of my girlfriends introduced this blush to me and I was honestly shocked at how pigmented it is. It’s the perfect “pop” of pink.
Iconic London Illuminator Liquid Highlight: This highlight gives what it needs to GIVE. It comes in 3 shades, but my favorite shade is “Glow” (terracotta-toned shimmer that bestows a rich bronze glow). In the past, one of my biggest concerns with highlighters has been too much of a silver/white shimmer (we hate to see it), so I love the bronze glow that this liquid highlighter gives.
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Microfinishing Pressed Powder: I ran into Sephora a few weeks ago needing a translucent powder because I forgot to pack one for my trip. I prefer pressed powder because I feel like it helps my skin to maintain a more matte appearance for a longer period of time. Oily gal? We don’t know her. I have the translucent powder and it is just that, translucent. It is invisible and doesn’t look like a have a white cast on my skin.
FRESH Sugar Lip Balm Sunscreen SPF 15: I took a trip to AZ when I was 8 years old. Random, but I spent all day in the pool because I was convinced I was a fish?!? Nonetheless, my lips got sunburned and it has been a fear of mine ever since. No cap. I love Fresh’s lip balm sunscreen, because not only is it tinted, but it also has SPF 15. Effortless hydration. It’s a win-win situation.
