Dress // Over the Knee Boots // Sunnies
I like to keep snakes out of my life, unless of course they’re part of my outfit. It’s a personal preference. Besides the fact that you should avoid people that suck the life out of you at all cost, the point of this blog post isn’t to sneak diss, but it’s to talk about snakeskin. If you haven’t noticed, snakeskin is in this season. However, this season is interesting, because not only is snakeskin in, but so is cheetah print, leopard print and I may or may not have seen a zebra jacket at the mall the other day. I’ll pass on the latter.
In the past, I feel like each year has favored a different animal print, but this year I’ve seen literally every single animal print and/or faux fur on the runway. In this post I’m wearing this snakeskin dress, with double pockets and a belt that completes the dress. One of the must-haves for your closet this fall are a pair of snakeskin booties. These Steve Madden booties have a dramatic cut out on each side, and the perfect block heel. Another pair of booties that I love are these pointed toe booties. You can never go wrong with a pointed toe. Gucci has also upped their game and jumped on the snakeskin trend this season. I am obsessed with the bamboo handle on this Mini Dionysus Gucci handbag, but since my bank account lacks a few commas, this shoulder bag that is under $100 is still trendy af.
I’m linking a bunch of snakeskin pieces that you definitely need in your closet this season, below.
Yassss! I’m inspired to go get me a snakeskin piece for my closet. I want to find a snakeskin skirt and a black blouse, resembling the outfit you featured on here. And you’re right the snakeskin booties are a must have! This is definitely a hot new trend I can’t wait to try. By the way, you look amazing in your snakeskin dress and turtle neck. You definitely took the trend and personalized it for your look. Hella cute! Love it!
Sooo many good snakeskin pieces out right now!! xo
