Summer in Europe is truly a dream. When preparing for the trip, I intentionally packed outfits for sun-soaked days exploring different cities, while also keeping in mind ‘chic-and-comfortable’ pieces.

You can’t go wrong with the basics. This look is made up of summer staples! My tube top is longer than cropped length, so it tucks perfectly into the denim midi skirt. I styled these pieces with a simple belt and my most-worn flats, the Hermès Oran sandals! This is an easy daytime look for touristy activities and lunch with the locals. See my full review on the Oran sandals here.
SHOP THE LOOK
For any European trip, you’ll want to pack a staple pair of comfy white sneakers. If you struggle to find outfits that make casual sneakers look dressier and more stylish, try something like this neutral two piece set! The pants are flowy and lightweight which works perfectly to wear on a summer day out and about. This set is also great because both the top and pants can be mixed and matched with other outfits!
DRESS LINKED HERE
Dresses are an absolute must-have outfit piece for summer in Italy. Gelato hour in Venice? This ruffle sleeve midi dress outfit is the perfect elevated look for the ‘occasion’! I styled the dress with a neutral crossbody bag and comfy brown sandals.

This white eyelet midi dress made the list for being super cute and so easy to style! I wore it with heeled sandals and a skinny Fendi belt which tied the look together seamlessly. It was perfect for Lunch at Villa d’Este in Lake Como and strolling the grounds afterwards!

SHOP TOP & SHOP RUFFLE SKIRT
One of my favorite summer looks has been this black ruffled skirt set! It just got restocked and is a must-have in your ‘European Summer’ wardrobe. Additionally, you can dress it up with a pair of heels or down with a pair of flats!

As you can tell, I love a day-to-night look. This outfit can take you from a full day of walking on cobblestoned streets in Florence, to sipping rosé at sunset, ending with having dinner at the best trattoria in town! This is another two piece set that looks adorable together but can also be mixed and matched with other outfit pieces on your packing list.
I hope my Italy outfit guide helps inspire you on what to wear in Italy or even for the for the rest of your summer! Also, stay tuned because my full Italy travel guide is coming soon to the blog!
