Today on the blog I’m going to be sharing with you guys a little bit of what’s on my beauty counter! Some of these products I’ve been using for a few years now while others I just recently purchased. These are my must-haves that I don’t go anywhere without. My first essential is a primer. I like to use Smashbox’s Photo Finish Primer. I always prime my face with this primer before applying makeup. It minimizes your pores and makes applying makeup much easier. I’ve used this primer for years and love it. Since we are on the subject of primers, let’s talk setting sprays. I used to use Urban Decay’s All Nighter Long-Lasting, but recently switched over to NYX’s Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray. It’s $24 dollars cheaper and I honestly have not noticed a difference between sprays.
I get a lot of questions about my foundation and I LOVE this foundation by Clinique. This is another product that I’ve been using for years. It hasn’t led me wrong yet, so why change? It is a foundation + concealer in one, which means great coverage and less product usage. For eyes, I typically use drugstore mascaras. I don’t see the point in spending a fortune on something that A) doesn’t last that long, and B) I just wash off at night. I also recently purchased NYX’s Ultimate Shadow Palette. NYX just released several unique color combinations of these palettes, from warm neutrals to BOLD pop’s of color. I like to compare them to Urban Decay’s Naked Palettes… at half the price. If I’m going out I typically do a smokey eye paired with falsies, of course.
I hope you guys enjoyed my “what’s on my beauty counter” post {w i n t e r 2017 edition} ! Let me know in the comments section below if you want to see more of these type of posts!

Aren’t they?? I also love that they’re super pigmented!
I’ve been wanting to try the Clinique foundation for a while now, but since the Fenty beauty line came out I’m so torn. I might just have to get both. I love the look of the falsies that you wear. I’m still learning how to wear them

I love the Clinique foundation! But I’ve actually been wanting to try the Fenty beauty foundation, but I can’t find my shade in stock anywhere. Hopefully I will soon! And thank you! Once you get the hang of them you can apply them in under 60 seconds!
