Audrey Hepburn once said, “Elegance is the only beauty that never fades.” There’s something about being able to dress-up and put on my finest burgundy lipstick that makes me feel elegant.
My sorority has two formals every year. One formal during the winter and one during the spring. This being one of my last formals, I wanted to go with a more elegant look. I’ve grown throughout college, so why shouldn’t my wardrobe?
My must-have necessities to get ready for the night included faux eyelashes, my 24k 1″ Gold curling iron by Hot Tools, Marc Jacobs lipstick, and my “Princess” by Vera Wang perfume. My dress is by the brand “Windsor.” I purchased it from a small boutique at one of the malls near me. I’m honestly so in love with how well it photographed. I wore black and gold accessories, and a black, pointed-toe heel, to not distract from the dress, but to accent it. If there’s one thing I’m sure of, is that there is beauty in simplicity. I already cannot wait for my next opportunity to get all dolled-up!
Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I hope it’s filled with tons of holiday cheer!
Brenna,
This dress is so gorgeous and this outfit ended up coming together so well! I know how difficult it can be looking for the perfect dress especially for one of your last formals. You did great though and the accessories were spot on!
